After finding that mysterious road beside the other one, I looked up a map of Christmas Island, also known as Kirimati Island. It’s full of some wonderful details, such as the types of plants growing on different parts of the island, but also lazy generalizations, such as “Numerous Lagoons”. My favorite points are the “Large shed” marked on the north side of the island, just east of the coconut palms, and the disclaimer underneath BAY OF WREAKS.
